Narrated Selections

In several selections, users have the option of listening to a selection as well as reading it. These passages are particularly useful for students who prefer to learn by listening, or for less skilled readers, to help them assimilate content.

Narration does not occur everywhere in the site. You will find it primarily in longer sections of text within interactives. In addition, the help section of each interactive is narrated. You might consider having students read/listen to the help section prior to starting the interactive.

Look for this symbol Audio in these activities to listen as well as read.
